There is indeed a big problem with today’s world – people eat less and less at home and more and more in restaurants or from street-shops. That’s not totally a bad thing if it’s done with moderation, but many people prefer to eat like this because they don’t have time to cook at home or they don’t seem to have it.
However, because of this, there is an increase in the number of people suffering from obesity, as eating junk-food and following a chaotic schedule for every day seems to bring only problems, disadvantages and health issues.
That’s why we’d like to present you some easy, healthy, home-made recipes that you could do by yourself, and all you need is just some time and willingness to try them out.
Chicken and Salad
For those who can’t eat a meal without meat, we’ve got a very easy and healthy recipe. The best meat is the chicken meat, and if it’s possible have the meat ready with no bones. Wash it good, cut it in slices and fry it on a grill, at least a few minutes on each side. The meat is done easily, it’s light and it’s healthier than the pork steak.
For the salad, all you have to do is combine some tomatoes, cucumbers, green onions, salt, pepper and some oil. Cut the vegetables in small pieces, place them all in a bowl, add some salt and pepper for your own taste, mix them once, add some oil, mix again and the salad is ready.
Serving this dish is easy – just place some chicken meat on a saucer and add some salad next to it. It’s easy, it takes less than 30 seconds to prepare it and it is also good for your health – no additives, no fake ingredients and all natural.
This can be served as garnish or you could eat it as it is, as it’s light and all natural. For this, you will need some rice, 2 tomatoes, 2 red and yellow peppers, 1 onion, oil, mustard, salt and pepper. Boil the rice until it’s ready for serving. While the rice boils, make a light mayonnaise out of oil, mustard, salt and pepper – make as much as you want, depending on your taste – this is a sauce that needs to be added in the salad.
Cut the onion into small pieces, cut the tomatoes and the peppers and you’re ready to combine them. Once the rice is ready, add the onion, and mix everything, and then add the sauce. Once this is ready, you can add the rest of the vegetables – if you like to feel a stronger taste for the vegetables, you could add more of them – it will also give a nice color to the salad.
It can be served right after it is done, or you could leave it in the fridge for one hour and serve it cold. Either way, it’s a good garnish and a good dish in itself.
Many people love Italian food, but not everyone knows how to cook it. An easy recipe goes like this – you will need some pasta, tomatoes, garlic, oil, basil, salt and pepper. While the pasta is boiling, cut
the onions (2 small ones) and fry them in a pan with some oil. Once they are glassy, add the garlic (cut into small pieces), the tomatoes (also cut into small pieces) and let them cook for a few minutes. Once they are done, add the basil and keep mixing. Make sure the content doesn’t stick to the pan, so mix continuously or every 10 seconds.
When the pasta is ready, put them in a colander, and place them under a cold jet of water – it will keep them from sticking. Put them in a bowl and add the content with the sauce – you can serve them instantly.
